Shell--Queen Conch
In Native American culture, the queen conch symbolizes fertility, abundance, and protection. For emancipated slaves of the US Virgin Islands, the conch has come to represent the most precious of all human rights—freedom
The large spiral shell of the queen conch is said to represent the never-ending cycle of life. The soft pink interior is associated with feminine energy and new beginnings. The queen conch is also considered a powerful totem animal, providing strength and guidance during times of change or adversity. When the queen is gone, her abandoned shell breathes new life as a horn used in religious ceremonies.
